What we collect

When you place an order we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number, so we can process the order and contact you about it.
• Your date of birth and your age confirmation, which we are required to record to sell age-restricted products.
• A record of the ID check carried out at handover — the type of ID seen and which member of staff checked it. We do not photograph, scan or store your ID document.
• Your order contents and payment status. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach our servers.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your contact and address details to perform our contract with you. We process age-verification records to comply with our legal obligations as a retailer of age-restricted products.

We do not send marketing email unless you have specifically asked for it. Order updates are transactional messages and are not marketing.

Where it is stored

Order data is stored in Google Firestore in the London (europe-west2) region.

We keep order and age-verification records for six years, which is the period over which we may need to evidence compliance to Trading Standards and HMRC.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — although we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores your age confirmation, your theme preference and your basket in your browser's local storage so the site works as you expect. Nothing in there identifies you and none of it is sent to third parties.
